Felt is very strong and durable, yet soft and exceptionally insulating. Thanks to these properties, it feels cool in summer and warm in winter, while a felted cover insulates the body from external temperatures and moisture.
The heat felt from a sauna bench warmed by 90–110°C air is dramatically reduced when using a felt sauna bench cover.
