Felt is very strong and durable, yet soft and exceptionally insulating. Thanks to these properties, it feels cool in summer and warm in winter, while the felted cover and cushion insulate the body from external temperatures and moisture.
The heat felt from a sauna bench warmed by 90–110°C air is dramatically reduced when using a felt sauna bench cover and cushion.
