Green Patterned Felt Sauna Hat, Goblin Hat

My sauna hats are uniquely designed, handmade artisan products made from the highest-quality 100% Australian Merino wool using the traditional felting technique.

This model is made from green and white felted wool, combined with decorations made from green, white, and yellow-white silk and viscose fibers, as well as felted wool balls. The hat can be worn either fully extended or gathered into a folded shape.

Felt sauna hats are cheerful, characterful accessories. Wearing one makes the intense 90–100°C heat of the sauna much easier to tolerate for longer periods, because reducing the heating of the head and brain also reduces the body's sensation of heat. A felt sauna hat protects the wearer's head and hair follicles from the intense heat of the sauna more effectively than hats made from other materials such as synthetic felt, knitted fabric, or terry cloth. In much the same way, a shepherd's wool coat protects against summer heat by keeping the body's temperature of around 36°C inside the coat.

I make the hat to order in your own size, so please provide your head circumference when ordering. Measure around the head directly above the ears and give the measurement in centimeters. The average head circumference is approximately 56 cm.
