Green-White Felt Sauna Hat, Elf Hat

This sauna hat is made from green and white wool using the traditional felting technique and is combined with decorations made from white silk and viscose fibers, as well as felted wool balls.

Like all of my designs, this is a uniquely designed, handmade artisan product. I like to use colors and themes inspired by nature; in this model, the most common colors found in nature represent this inspiration.

As sauna culture has become more widespread, wearing a sauna hat has become increasingly common among sauna users. A handmade sauna hat wet-felted from wool protects the wearer's head and hair follicles from the intense heat of the sauna more effectively than hats made from any other material.

The sensation of the sauna's 90–100°C heat can be significantly reduced by wearing a felt hat, because reducing the heating of the head and brain also reduces the body's overall sensation of heat. This makes high temperatures much easier to tolerate for longer periods and enhances the sauna experience.

I make the hat to order in your own size. Please provide your head circumference when ordering, measured around the head directly above the ears. The average head circumference is approximately 56 cm.

My felt sauna hats are 100% handmade artisan products, so the hat made to order will not be completely identical to the original model, although I always strive to reproduce it as closely as possible.
